Dziecinada - design for children

The exhibition presents a selection of Polish designs for children; unique pieces and items produced in limited series along with mass produced objects and prototypes ready to be implemented. Furniture, customized teddy bears, building blocks which stimulate creativity, educational toys, books illustrated by the best Polish graphic designers, lamps and carpets – objects for everyday use at home or kindergarten, or just for fun.
Some designs were created because parents – designers could not find appropriate toys for their children in stores, other were inspired by children’s imagination or were an attempt to return to the designer’s own childhood. All of them teach and entertain, both children and grownups. They invite us to dialogue with our children.
