Just a thing

An ordinary thing. What does it mean? Ten designers were invited to create works that freely interpret the theme of the exhibition. The only limitation was the size of a plywood box of standard dimensions of 75x75x75 cm where the object should fit into. The designers gave surprising, provoking answers to the initial question.

The exhibition is an invitation to reflect on the „usual and unusual things”, an attempt to find a definition of „the usualness” in design and to determine whether an object is only a thing or maybe something more.
