Unpolished – young design from Poland

Curators: Agnieszka Jacobson-Cielecka and Pawel Grobelny

The exhibition is an attempt to find a common denominator in Polish design - the thing that connects and bounds the young generation of designers, brought up during or after the political transformation in Poland. It presents the most interesting works and achievements of young architects and designers, mostly prototypes, limited series, and unique objects, which are characteristic thanks to the materials and methods of production and because of the thoughts and ideas they convey. The exhibition shows that Polish design and architecture, drawing on the rich Polish experience and traditions, are unique and therefore attractive and worth discovering.
The success the exhibition enjoys at design festivals across Europe proves that Polish design deserves of its reputation while its creators - thanks to their talent, imagination, experience, unconventional ideas and passion – are in demand on the international art and design markets.
